Char and Ryan and Far Boys

Hi Amy,

We just wanted to write you to tell you how our rats are doing. We named one Diffi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitfield_Diffie ) and one Fermi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enrico_Fermi ) after notable people in the fields both of us study. (Diffie is basically a mathematician, and Fermi a physicist.)

We really love these rats. They are incredibly smart, sociable, and fun. We've trained them to stay, and to come to us when we call their names and make clicking sounds. They are also both learning how to stand on their legs to get a treat, and seem to really enjoy the process.

They have grown so much since we got them, and their fur has already changed texture. They seem to be getting along great with each other, too.

We justed wanted to thank you.

3 Little Demorats

Amy...

A brief briefing on Jack, Bobby, and Teddy.

The boys are doing quite well.

They quickly settled into their skyscraper cage.

Around 2AM things get mighty active in there.

So far, the neighbors haven't complained about all the racket.

Bobby's the people-rat, who most enjoys regular shoulder-riding.

Jack's the most assertive and curious. He's made it crystal clear that

he is the chief executive.

Teddy is the chubbiest and cherishes his solitude, usually preferring to sleep solo

in his own private Kleenex box.

More to report as we grow ever closer to the big election.
